Carl Vistisen

Denmark

Carl Vistisen’s team is the national winner from Denmark. They teamed up in the Pioneers category with an ambitious project about the moon Enceladus orbiting Jupiter – have there been life there? Is it possible for humans to explore this place in space?

He participated in the regional semifinals in Denmark and was close to winning. His project “Hime/Enceladus” was honored for being the most original and challenging problem presented at the semifinals.

He was 16 at the time and comes from a secondary school in Copenhagen. Although Carl is more into photography than space science, his friend Emil talked him into teaming up with him.

He has graduated from secondary school. He has not yet finally decided on his future career.
