  • “Physics Náboj” – International competition in Physics, (2015 – National winner, 2016)
  • “Mathematics Náboj” – International competition in Mathematics (2016)
  • Online Physics Brawl – International competition in Physics (2015, 2016)
  • Odysseus Space Contest – Regional Semifinalist winner – International Finalist (Pioneers category, Belgium, 2016)

What motivated you most to participate to Odysseus contest?

I have been interested in space, physics, astronomy and science for some time and since i had a chance with this contest I could not refuse it. I wanted to make a project and research and this was a great opportunity and a big challenge at the same time. I wanted to meet new students, who are also interested in space, and share together new ideas and our research results. And the prizes were atempting as well – a trip to French Guiana, who would not want to go.

What did you enjoy when you prepared your project?

I think that what I really enjoyed the most was the communication and cooperation with NASA. They helped us with our project and it was exciting. I also enjoyed when we found and observed in the pictures our first asteroid and possibly discovered new one.

What was the most important thing that you learned during the preparation of your project?

The most important thing I learned was that cooperation and communication in team and with other people is very, very important. Nowadays, a person must cooperate with a lot of different people when he wants to discover something new, he cannot do it alone. Having enough time and a good preparation is very important too.

Has the work done for your project affected your decision for studies in space science?

I already knewn that I want to study some technical or physical field at university. During our project I discovered a lot of new space science branches, but however I still do not know what exactly I want to study, but I want to get involved with the space science field.
