ODYSSEUS II Viktorija Leimane

I am Viktorija and i am currently studying at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. I graduated Tukums Secondary School No. 2.

Since December i have been working at the Institute of Electronics and Computer science Cyber-Physical Systems.

My interests are astronomy and photography.

What motivated you most to participate to Odysseus contest?

The prizes, especially the telescope!

What did you enjoy when you prepared your project?

Thought experiments, getting familiar with Carl Sagan’s works, scrupulously analyzing each argument and discussing the matter with my friends and history teacher.

Has the work done for your project affected your decision for studies in space science?

Yes, I am currently studying physics.
